This brisk windy morning met me with a strong percussive feeling as I walked. Normally I’ve approached exercise with the idea that I need to make the change forever– I need to be systematic about my approach, which takes out all the fun that might come from the act. This morning I walked with out tracking or timing, I snapped pictures of places that stood out to me. I appreciated the sound of the breeze, the water flowing in the creek and the isolation. This is the first time I’ve lived in a beautiful place. The country holds so many treasures and a peacefulness that I never experienced in the city, not even in the parks. My life is so good right now, I’m ashamed that I sometimes forget it.
