Children’s bedrooms

Children’s bedrooms

Does having pity lead to action? Does having guilt make us more likely to stand up for equality?

When I come across posts like this I immediately begin to analyze my environment. I’m torn between a space of frustration and heartache. I feel these photos and many like them, provide a spectacle. I hesitate to think they lead to action.

Are these current day minstrels? Do they lead us to be “thankful” that we were born into a wealthy country and take us no further? As you can see I’m torn in many directions when I’m presented with images of poverty.

“Knowledge doesn’t lead to action, inspiration leads to action.”
